Suprex Wireless OSDP-Wiegand Extender (models SPX-5631 and SPX-5641) from Cypress
LAPEER, MICHIGAN — Cypress Integration Solutions of Lapeer, Michigan, has announced that its Suprex® Wireless Extenders now support OSDP.
The updated Wireless Extenders support OSDP readers connected to OSDP controllers, Wiegand readers connected to Wiegand controllers, and have a built-in OSDP-Wiegand interface to support a combined OSDP/Wiegand system without requiring a separate converter.

The Wireless OSDP & Wiegand Suprex line includes models SPX-5631, with a typical range of 1 mile; as well as the long-range wireless model SPX-5641, with a typical range of 2 miles.
Wireless Suprex Extenders support reader LED and auxiliary I/O signals, with dry contact relay outputs for activating doors and gates.
The 2.4 GHz wireless connection uses the IEEE 802.15.4 wireless protocol. Both models carry a lifetime warranty and are backed by in-house tech support.
