Biometrics Cuts Its Fourth Quarter Loss Based on Better Sales

Unnamed airport helps company strengthen numbers

TORONTO -- Identity verification technology firm Bioscrypt Inc. said Friday it cut its loss in the latest quarter on better sales, including to a major U.S. airport.

The fourth quarter loss for Bioscrypt, which reports results in U.S. dollars, fell to $66,834, zero cents per diluted share, from a year-ago $332,084, or a penny per share.

Revenue in the period ended Dec. 31 was $3.9 million, up 23 per cent from $3.2 million reported during the same period in the previous year.
