Petze will focus on the creation of strategic partnerships and sales channels to deploy Privaris' new products into the market as quickly as possible. Mr. Petze has also been elected a member of the Board of Directors. Dr. Barry W. Petze served since 2003 as CEO at Tridium, a global software products and services company providing a technology platform to control smart devices. Tridium, which was recently acquired by Honeywell International, saw great success under his leadership developing strong distribution relationships with system integrators, OEMs and resellers. Petze has served in a variety of senior technical and management positions with manufacturers of hardware and software in his 25-plus year career. He has a BS degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts.

Barry Johnson, Chairman and CTO, said, "We recently announced an outstanding product with the plusID personal biometric fob series and more are in the pipeline. Now Privaris needs an individual with proven abilities in the creation and execution of strategies to bring about widespread market adoption. John is that person. He came to our attention because of his experience in rapidly executing distribution and penetration strategies across a variety of markets. I look forward to great success as we continue to build our team and execute to plan."

"There is no doubt that Privaris has the expertise and the products the marketplace needs," said John Petze. "In this next stage, our focus will be to accelerate the deployment of Privaris' innovative biometric solutions into the marketplace, both at home and internationally, and to expand the infrastructure to support the large scale adoption of the technology across consumer, commercial and government applications. Barry will be able to focus on development of next generation biometric solutions in his role as CTO. His technology expertise and his vision as Chairman are of great value. I'm excited to join the Privaris team at this pivotal time - we're well positioned in a rapidly expanding market, and ideally suited to serve the growing need for enhanced security."

Privaris recently introduced the plusID - the world's first mobile, handheld biometric device that enhances security while eliminating the need for employees to use multiple access cards and passwords. The new key-fob sized device authenticates a user's identity with their fingerprint and enables secure access to buildings and other physical facilities, local and remote computers and networks, and online or onsite financial transactions. plusID incorporates the first implementation of Broadcom Corporation's BCM5890 secure processor. Additional biometric security products are to be announced by Privaris in the next few months.

John Petze's appointment was effective June 30, 2006.
