Cogent Systems Lands $34 Million Contract in Morocco

Cogent to install its automated fingerprint identification system as paort of national ID program in Morocco

SOUTH PASADENA, Calif. -- Cogent Systems (Nasdaq:COGT) announced today it has been awarded a contract for approximately $34 million (28 million Euro) to install its Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for a national criminal and civil deployment supporting a national identification program in Morocco. The contract will consist of software and hardware, as well as services and maintenance which will extend beyond 2005.
