ImageWare Receives Order from Mexican Government Agency Biometric Solution

SAN DIEGO -- ImageWare Systems, Inc., a global leader in identity management solutions, announced that the Company has been awarded a contract from an unnamed Mexican government agency to provide a multi-biometric identification and identity management solution. The solution will leverage the Company's IWS Biometric Engine and investigative platforms, which will incorporate facial, fingerprint, signature and DNA biometric capabilities. Its powerful and flexible identity management functionality will also provide comprehensive searching capabilities including personal demographic information. The solution is believed to be the first to incorporate four biometrics into a single integrated platform.

The initial order is valued at approximately $2 million. ImageWare expects to deliver this system in the 4th quarter. The contract contains options for additional enrollments into the IWS Biometric Engine over the next five years which, if exercised, would result in a total contract value of approximately $9.5 million.
