Sielox displays innovative access control and emergency response solutions at ISC West 2015
Las Vegas, NV (April 15, 2015) – Sielox, an industry leader in integrated access control and emergency response technologies, is featuring its innovative software, hardware and mobile solutions here at ISCW 2015. Featured products include the company’s industry proven Pinnacle® Access Control and Event Management Platform, the unique “no end of life” 1700 Controller, the Sielox AnyWare™ Browser-Based Access Control Platform, and the powerful Sielox CLASS Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System™ (CLASS).
“We will always look to develop new and innovative solutions while continuing to support current and legacy customers,” said Karen Evans, CEO and President, Sielox. “By continually enhancing our solutions, while maintaining backwards compatibility with the thousands of Sielox solutions installed over the company’s 35 year history, we provide our users with the best combination of performance, reliability, value and scalability.”
Sielox’s impressive product portfolio includes the latest release of its Pinnacle® Access Control and Event Management Platform. Pinnacle incorporates third-party interfaces for easy integration of elevators, visitor management and video systems, along with convenient utilities that enable numerous functions to be performed faster and more easily. To help ensure that access control operations remain up and running, Pinnacle is supported in a virtual environment providing failover redundancy. Pinnacle Argos®, Pinnacle’s built-in VMS, provides for cost-effective event integration to video for real-time viewing, recording, and event video call back and display.
Also on display is the company’s 1700 Controller, a “no end-of-life” workhorse. This controller has no estimated end-of-life because it is uniquely designed with all logic built-in to the controller’s field-programmable processor, allowing fast design changes to accommodate new features and enables easy field upgrades. An SD card built-in to the controller stores a backup of all configuration data, making for instant recovery in the event of a failure. The entire access database can also be downloaded onto the SD card to facilitate access operation in the event of network failure.
The 1700 Controller features on-board Ethernet to bring true IP connectivity all the way to the processor. Unlike competitor offerings, this approach removes the restrictions of low-speed converters and adapters to support communication at standard IP speeds. Not only does this faster communication speed up installation and enable remote diagnostics, it supports higher performance of the entire system. Additional features include field-replaceable socketed relays which reduce the cost and time of repairs by allowing instant replacement of the failed components. Also compatible with wireless locking systems and devices, the 1700 Controller is made in the USA and is FIPS 201 compliant for federal applications.
Sielox CLASS™ is an innovative emergency notification and rapid response solution designed to improve first responder capabilities by providing detailed information, status and communications for triggered events. CLASS transmits detailed facility maps for responders to view room-by-room color-coded conditions in real time, with live chat communications throughout a facility for additional information or instructions. A browser-based application, CLASS functions across LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN or high-speed cellular service for maximum accessibility.
Sielox CLASS is offered standalone or integrated with Sielox AnyWare™, a browser-based access control system that comes as a standard feature with CLASS. If the facility already has an access control system deployed, CLASS can initiate lockdown on any other manufacturer’s system that supports the ability for a button to trigger lockdown.
