Jeff Wood joins Salto Systems

Industry veteran appointed as national manager of OEM/integration partners

ATLANTA – SALTO Systems, a global leader in the manufacture of electronic access control systems, today announced the appointment of security industry veteran Jeff Wood to the position of National Manager OEM/Integration Partners.

Wood brings more than 30 years of high-end commercial security technology sales, deployment and channel management to his new position, where he will be responsible for maximizing the relationships with SALTO’s access control software integration partners in North America. He will be based in New York and will report to Michael Mahon, Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales.

Prior to joining SALTO, Wood served as Northeast Regional Manager for Maxxess, where he was responsible for the development and management of sales, distribution and support of the company’s authorized resellers and their end users.

Previously, Wood held the positions of Director of Business Development at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where he focused on Strategic Accounts and National Transportation Security projects, and as the Senior Regional Manager for Lenel Systems International. During his 15-year tenure at Lenel, Wood served in the company’s most profitable region and developed some of its most significant accounts including The World Trade Center Reconstruction Project and numerous New York City critical infrastructure projects.

Wood served also as a security subject matter expert for the U.S., Canadian and British Governments, was involved in 9/11 recovery efforts in NYC, and managed system deployments at major sporting events including the 1996 Olympics and The Little League World Series. Wood also held positions at Kodak, Motorola and ADT, and is a U.S. Navy Veteran.
