Johnson Controls showcases its latest access control and video security solutions designed to enhance connectivity, scalability and real-time threat response.

Johnson Controls has announced a series of advancements across its access control and video security portfolio, highlighting new innovations that were showcased at ISC West 2026 in Las Vegas. The updates reinforce the company’s focus on open, scalable and future-ready security platforms for enterprise and commercial environments.

The latest releases introduce first-to-market upgrades across the company’s security ecosystem, designed to accelerate implementation, improve response accuracy and strengthen connectivity between access control and video systems. The solutions are aimed at enhancing security visibility and outcomes across sectors including business, government, education, healthcare, infrastructure, retail and industrial environments.

“Awareness isn’t optional; it’s mission critical,” said Faisal Pandit, president of building management systems at Johnson Controls. “With new solutions, upgrades, and integrations across C•CURE IQ, Exacq, Illustra, and Kantech, we are delivering smarter access control and video systems to elevate the intelligence, speed, and accuracy of commercial and enterprise security operations.”

C•CURE IQ Enhancements and Incident Management

The company continues to evolve its C•CURE IQ platform from Software House with new updates aimed at simplifying the integration of video surveillance, access control and automated incident workflows. Johnson Controls plans to debut C•CURE IQ 3.2 in mid-summer 2026, alongside the introduction of C•CURE IQ VMS, a next-generation video management capability embedded within the platform.

The standalone VMS features include a simplified video interface, an easy deployment option for existing Victor and VideoEdge customers and a streamlined experience for new users seeking integrated video, access control and event management in a single platform.

In addition, the company introduced C•CURE IQ Incident Management, which streamlines the full incident lifecycle through automated event-driven incident creation. The solution uses dynamic workflows and decision trees to reduce manual steps and improve audit readiness, supporting more efficient monitoring, investigation and response.

Illustra Multisensor Camera Upgrades

Johnson Controls also expanded its Illustra Multisensor portfolio with three new camera offerings designed for commercial infrastructure applications.

The Panoramic Camera features built-in AI detection and a 188-degree horizontal field of view to deliver situational awareness from a single device without increasing infrastructure costs. The Multisensor Fixed camera focuses on business intelligence-driven surveillance with ultra-low light sensitivity up to 65 feet to enhance imaging in dark environments. Meanwhile, the 360 Varifocal Cameras include AI analytics, one-touch autofocus and remote zoom and focus to support customized wide-area coverage.

Interoperability Advancements Across Platforms

Updates to the company’s flagship platforms include the release of exacqVision 26.0 and Kantech EntraPass 9.10, further advancing interoperability across commercial security environments.

The enhancements introduce advanced search capabilities to accelerate investigations and improve event verification. They also deliver improved scalability through streamlined credential and door management workflows, supporting deployments ranging from single sites to multi-location enterprises.

Expanded integrations further unify access control and video surveillance capabilities. exacqVision 26.0 increases device compatibility, including support for Illustra Multisensor cameras, while EntraPass 9.10 integrates with third-party identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID and Okta to streamline identity and access management.

Expanded Ecosystem Integrations

Johnson Controls is also expanding its ecosystem through deeper integrations with technology partners, including SALTO Systems and Scylla.

The Kantech SALTO integration unifies online, offline and wireless door locking solutions within a single platform, supporting a wider range of door types and retrofit scenarios while reducing system complexity. Meanwhile, the exacq Scylla integration introduces AI-driven threat detection into the exacq VMS, enabling users to identify objects, actions and behavioral anomalies across commercial environments at scale.

The expanded ecosystem is designed to provide connected and scalable solutions that simplify security management while supporting the evolving demands of modern, mission-critical environments.
