Ontic has announced Ontic AI, a new set of capabilities within the Ontic Connected Intelligence Platform intended to help corporate and government security teams analyze information, identify relevant patterns and reduce time spent on routine review.

Ontic AI works with the connected data, relationships and operational history already available within the platform. The company said this allows teams to apply AI with context from their broader security programs rather than evaluating individual signals in isolation.

Security information can be fragmented across feeds, files, point solutions and internal systems. Ontic said its platform connects this information so AI-generated insights can incorporate relationships involving protected executives, previous incidents, active investigations and critical locations.

“AI initiatives often start with the model. We believe they should start with the context of the security operation,” said Nitin Navare, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Ontic. “Ontic already connects the people, signals, incidents, investigations, and history that shape security decisions. Ontic AI builds on that foundation to make routine work easier and surface connections teams may not otherwise see.”

The Ontic AI capabilities address several areas of security operations. Summaries, which are available in the platform today, turn intelligence feeds, research, entities, incidents and investigations into clear, shareable overviews. Trends, also available today, group related signals to help analysts recognize events and narratives as they develop.

Ontic AI also includes Chat, which allows teams to explore relevant Ontic data and ask questions using plain language. Deduplication groups repetitive signals to help analysts focus on meaningful new developments. Copilot surfaces relevant changes, history and potential next steps during triage while analysts retain control of every decision.

Chat, Deduplication and Copilot are expected to be available in the Ontic Platform by the end of 2026.

“Ontic AI helps our team make sense of far more information than we could reasonably review on our own,” said the Director of Investigative Services at a Fortune 250 Business Services Company. “By bringing relevant context and patterns forward in the platform we already use, it lets our analysts focus where professional judgment matters most.”

Ontic said Ontic AI is intended to support rather than replace the judgment of security professionals. Analysts review AI-generated outputs and make final decisions. The company also said it does not use client data to train or validate models for the benefit of other organizations. Existing permissions and privacy controls within the Ontic Platform continue to apply. Attendees at Global Security Exchange (GSX) can experience Ontic AI at Ontic’s booth, #3323.
