Electra Computer is a managed AgentOS — an AI Agent Operating System that lets a business stand up, run, and manage its own fleet of AI agents without hiring an engineering team. Rather than locking customers into a single model or framework, Electra is built as a "meta" agent harness: it's **harness-agnostic**, running across Hermes, OpenClaw, and Claude Managed engines, with a Hermes-first MVP. How it works.

Each customer gets one account for their business and spins up a lightweight VPS per department, with each VPS holding its own harness capable of managing a fleet of subagents.

Electra keeps LLM costs off HighlandTech's books and in the customer's control: customers supply their own OpenRouter API key, so they pay for model usage directly and can tune spend to their needs. Infrastructure runs lean, and pricing is designed to be simple, to leave headroom as compute costs rise, and — critically — to beat the math of buying per-employee ChatGPT or Claude business subscriptions across a whole team.

Electra's ideal customer is a small business with fewer than 25 employees that wants real automation leverage but lacks in-house AI expertise. The product has deep roots in the physical security world — serving integrators and alarm dealers with monitoring, testing, and dispatch automations — and extends to any SMB looking to put agents to work in operations, customer service, and back-office tasks.
