ViewScan, Inc. has announced a new product release and redesigned website featuring expanded resources and enhancements to its AI-powered monitoring platform.

The redesigned website includes revamped content and resources such as real-world AI event videos, case studies, white papers, client testimonials and an FAQ section. The site also features a contemporary design intended to make navigation easier for partners and customers.

ViewScan said an ROI calculator will soon be available on the website to help customers understand potential savings related to staffing, employee efficiency and energy performance.

The company has also expanded ViewScan Protect with enhanced analytics, faster response times and earlier intervention capabilities.

ViewScan Protect combines video monitoring with environmental sensors that can generate alerts for smart building events. The software ecosystem consists of three core components: an AI Engine that uses multiple AI models to deliver analytics on video streams, an Event Manager that analyzes video and sensor signals to generate real-time alerts and front-end software that provides a “single pane of glass” for situational awareness.

The system follows a five-step process: Capture, Detect, Verify, Deter and Escalate. Cameras provide video feeds while sensors send alerts to an on-site gateway. ViewScan’s on-premise AI software analyzes the information in real time to detect human presence, loitering, sensor abnormalities, area-crossing behavior and other objects of interest.

A TMA-certified remote operator from a team staffed by U.S. veterans then verifies each alert to determine whether it is a false trigger. When appropriate, the operator attempts to deter trespassers through live audio talk-down. If the trespasser does not leave, the operator escalates the situation to local police or an on-site security team.
