October 8, 2013 – To help solve problems of unauthorized exits and entries of fire or emergency doors, and help stop theft as well, STI now offers the Wireless Exit Stopper with 4-Channel Voice Receiver (STI-V6400WIR4). The multifunction alarm is excellent in helping increase workplace security.
If the protected door is opened, the Exit Stopper emits an ear piercing alarm (95 or 105 dB) for 30 seconds, three minutes or continuously (as present by the user) and transmits a signal to the 4-Channel Voice Receiver. The voice receiver “speaks” ten tones/tunes and 53 words (in English or Spanish). Up to four tones/tunes or words can be programmed in sequence to identify door status (ex: rear door open, side door alert, emergency exit door open, etc.).
