UK tracking and monitoring firm to move to bigger premises

Tewkesbury, UK - 15 June 2007: Satamatics, the global provider of satellite-telematics, asset tracking and monitoring services, has today announced that it is making a number of investments in staff, premises and equipment. Following a year of growth for the market and for Satamatics, the company will be moving to bigger premises effective from the 15th June in order to accommodate a growing staff and new equipment.

Satamatics' new premises will be located in purpose built office suites in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, where the company has been based since its inception. The new facilities will provide space for all functions of Satamatics including the sales, support, admin and engineering teams. New members of staff have been recruited to help support the increasing customer base and also to promote the two new products which were released by Satamatics in the last quarter.

In addition to providing staff with a more suitable and spacious working environment, the move has enabled Satamatics to upgrade vital equipment, including a new server gateway, to allow greater capacity and flexibility for Satamatics' customers. The servers represent a significant investment by Satamatics in ensuring that its network continues to be on the cutting edge of technology and will be ready to handle new functionality when Satamatics moves to an upgraded satellite network protocol later in the year.

Peter Chisholm CEO of Satamatics, said of the changes: "We are very excited to be moving premises and to welcome on board our new team members. The new premises will give us the flexibility we require to continue expanding and with the new team we have the ability to continue to build on our policy of delivering excellence in our customer services. The CapEx we have invested in this year means that our systems are future proof and will be ready to handle any changes in technology or network we face in the years to come."
