DICE Corporation's Matrix Monitoring V17 is a sleek, easy-to-use user interface that displays the important information alarm handlers in a call center need to see on one convenient screen. Information such as data entry, service details, and account history are all featured on most Monitoring screens. Because no two monitoring centers are the same and there is no room for error when responding to events, Matrix Monitoring is built to meet your needs.

DICE provides services for a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, dealer alarm centers, and installing alarm companies with alarm centers. As changes become prevalent in the alarm industry, DICE remains focused on providing some of the best tools in the world for monitoring automation systems. The Matrix Monitoring system is loaded with many features to enhance user experience for your business.

Interactive Scripting

New for Version 17 is interactive scripting, which guides operators with step-by-step scripts detailing the information that should be collected during an event. This feature contains a data tree that branches out to other questions and requirements based on the information that is entered by the operator. The user tree also allows users to initiate external events like video or autodialing numbers based on collected data.

PBX Integration

Because DICE is a leader in providing PBXs for alarm call centers and emergency centers, our PBX is built into Matrix Monitoring V17 and works with inbound calls, allowing more procedures to be added to the inbound call management system. DICE is the first and only company to provide connected calls from inbound numbers that are for a subscriber site to the alarms that are active in a central station. This allows inbound calls to be consolidated to the operator handling the subscriber event. V17 also allows users to customize workflows for each decision tree with new maintenance tools and features. Designed to help central stations with complex procedures, this tool allows the system to be completely customizable and can attach to any account, call list, or alarm event, making complex procedures and instructions simple to follow.

Responsive Devices

In addition to our V17 enhancements, Matrix Monitoring provides other unique features that set us apart from our competitors. The freedom to use the system anywhere with a smart device, tablet, or laptop and our browser-based software is a popular feature with our users. Whether you’re in the center or working remotely, the quality and reliability of Matrix Monitoring will not be compromised. Many DICE users have started deploying Monitoring on iPads and laptops in vehicles and remote locations outside of the traditional alarm center because of the software’s mobile capabilities. By allowing users to monitor an entire facility on-the-go in facilities such as guard stations, university police departments, and homeowner associations, users are able to broaden services and save time and resources with minimal investment - even allowing central stations to back-up remote alarm handlers.

Integrated Events

In the past year, DICE has added some unique enhancements to our Monitoring software that offer our customers even more ways to improve their work experience. With Monitoring V17, integrated events are triggered by a number of factors, including alarms by priority, calls by DNIS, SMS messages, IP cameras, and email alarms to name a few. Enhancements to speed have also been made to Monitoring that surpass the original CORE version with full duplex communication from server to client. We also provide the same software capacities if you are hosted in our center or owned and installed in your own center.

GPS Mapping

GPS mapping is another tool utilized by Monitoring users. With GPS mapping, detailed subscriber location information from PERS and GPS-enabled devices is accessed instantaneously without needing to enter the information on a separate website. Information users need to know, like locator pins and the operator handling system, is displayed in a user-friendly format. DICE provides mapping servers and systems to avoid costly mapping fees charged by other automation companies. We are also one of only a few in the industry that has PSAP boundary data tied to mapping locations, which provides PSAP ten-digit dialing numbers based on site location or mobile PERS location.

Video Monitoring

Video monitoring is also available, allowing users to simplify the video monitoring process by integrating multiple cameras and different locations with your system. Users can view live streaming cameras and DVR recordings from the same web-based screen and record camera location audio, which saves as MP3s into the alarm history event record, ensuring safe, accurate, and professional service.
