The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association recognized several individuals and states for their contributions to the industry last week at its annual leadership summit in Westlake, Texas.
The award winners included; 2009 Chapter of the year- the Tennessee Burglar & Fire Alarm Association; 2009 Chapter President of the year - Ron Petrarca of the New York Burglar & Fire Alarm Association; Executive Director of the Year - Penny Brooks of the TBFAA; 2009 NTS Instructor of the Year - Joel Kent of FBN Security; Chapter Newsletter of the Year – The Rampart, published by the Wisconsin Burglar & Fire Alarm Association.
A new award presented by the NBFAA recognizing the chapter with the best Web site was given to the Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association.
