CSAA to rename as The Monitoring Association

At the June 7, 2016 General Membership Meeting at the ESX show in Fort Worth, Texas, Central Station Alarm Association members voted by an overwhelming majority to change the name of CSAA to “The Monitoring Association.” In addition, the vote replaced the CSAA’s current purpose statement in its bylaws with a mission statement. The association’s new mission is “to advance the professional monitoring industry through education, advocacy and public safety relationships.” At the meeting, members also voted on a number of bylaws changes aimed at clarifying various CSAA membership classifications.
