GMS plans to overhaul its central station and business management software by June 2005

General Monitoring Services (GMS), a 33-year-old monitoring service provider from Long Beach, Calif., has begun the switch to DICE Corporation's central station and business management software and services. GMS was using the GE MAS B32 product until GE announced its intention to discontinue support for the legacy product starting Jan. 1, 2006.

"This is just the next step for us in providing our dealers superior services. DICE offers great web-based tools that will allow our dealers to be better in control of their data and business," said Tim LeBlanc, president of GMS. "DICE is also working very closely with us on our new Dealer Funding Program that we rolled out nationwide at the ISC Show in Las Vegas on April 6, 2005," said Dave Hill, vice president of sales with GMS. General Monitoring Services plans on running completely on the DICE software by June of 2005.

"DICE is pleased that we can offer GMS the kind of dedicated personal service that they're going to need with the growth that their new dealer program is sure to bring them," said Clifford V. Dice, CEO of DICE Corporation.
