Former Tri-Ed account manager Brandon Young joins COPS West as new account manager out of Grapevine, Texas, station

Brandon Young has joined COPS Monitoring, one of the largest independent third party contract monitoring stations, as the company's new account manager at its Texas-based central station in Grapevine, Texas.

As account manager, Young will be in charge of managing the new branch as well as developing new accounts in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Before joining COPS, Young worked with Tri-ed Distribution, first in the national accounts department then as branch manager in Phoenix. Young helped increase revenues at the Phoenix branch and because of that success, Tri-ed transferred him to the Dallas branch where he developed a team that met the company's two-year projected goals within ten months.

"I grew up in this industry," said Young, "and my father has been in the industry for 18 years. I'm also familiar with this area. We already have dealers but Texas is a big state and I'm looking forward to introducing them to COPS Monitoring."

"Brandon is the perfect person to establish COPS Monitoring to the Texas region," said Jim McMullen, president of COPS. 'His knowledge of the area and relationships with dealers will strengthen our presence in the middle part of the country."

Young served in the navy directing airplanes on the flight deck of aircraft carriers. He has been to Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and Bahrain, while serving two tours in the Persian Gulf.
