Select Security acquires U.S. customers of Canada-based Alarm Force

Move will nearly double company's customer base

Select Security recently announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the United States subscribers of Toronto, Canada-based AlarmForce.

The acquisition, which is expected to close later this month, will add approximately 28,000 customers, bringing the total number of Select Security customers close to 60,000. The deal will also expand the company’s territory in Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia, Minnesota, California, New York, Texas, Colorado, and New Jersey.

“We look forward to quickly welcoming our newest customers and team members into the Select Security family,” said Select Security President Steve Firestone. “Our integration team will start immediately ramping operations so we can introduce them to the Select Security story.”
