Innovative Electronic Designs, LLC is pleased to announce the following changes designed to focused our best resources on critical areas of our business and thus serve you better and facilitate future growth. Effective immediately, Dick Snider, will focus on the growth of the IED Platinum Assurance Program. The first Platinum Assurance Plan began in January 2009 with customers receiving world class support. Dick has been instrumental in the Program's growth since its inception and his guidance will expand the services to an increasing number of customers. Since joining IED in 2008, Dick has also served as IED General Manager, General Sales Manager and most recently acting International Regional Sales Manager. Dick's refocusing on this business unit will continue to strengthen IED's relationship with its customers and create multiple upgrade opportunities for GLOBALCOM.
Steve Youngson will be stepping up to oversee IED international sales. As International Sales Manager, Steve will manage current non-domestic sales and work to expand IED sales throughout the world with strategically located regional sales managers. International projects are IED's fastest growing market and will play a pivotal role for expansion into the future. Steve has held several diverse positions at IED including Central Regional Manager, National Sales Manager, and currently as Manager of Applications Engineering. This experience, combined with many prior years at a major system integrator, will help IED grow distribution with our current international partners, and develop new areas of the world as we expand our international offerings. Steve has an MBA from the University of Nebraska and is a Certified RCDD.
Kevin Martin will begin to oversee IED domestic sales and customer service as National Sales Manager. In his new role, Kevin will work with the regional sales managers, internal sales support team and customer service team at IED as we continue to grow. Kevin brings 24 years of experience including the positions of Manufacturing Manager, Western Region Sales Manager, and Senior Application Engineer. This experience will help IED as we interact with new customers, strengthen our relationships with existing customers and expand sales into new markets. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
Dick, Steve and Kevin have each expressed eager enthusiasm for their new roles as leaders of the IED sales team. Having the right people in the right place at the right time is a cornerstone of a successful business. We are very excited that we have continued to increase our IED business necessitating this diversification of our leadership. I am confident in each of these individuals and their commitment to our continued growth and success.
