Security Watch: NPFA 2012: Premier Fire & Life Safety Event

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Conference & Expo heads to Las Vegas June 11 through 14 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

The NFPA Conference & Expo combines an educational conference with an expo of more than 360 solution providers. Association technical meetings are also on the agenda, including a discussion on proposed changes to NPFA 72, the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. The current document is the 2010 edition and the next tomb is due out in 2013. Other standards included on the agenda: NFPA 13, Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems and NFPA 101, Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety, as well as others.
