Telguard Unveils TG-7FX Sole Path Fire Communicator for Commercial Applications

Telguard’s TG-7FX Sole Path Fire Communicator is designed for streamlined installation in commercial fire alarm systems.
Telguard has announced the upcoming availability of its TG-7FX Sole Path Fire Communicator, a cellular solution built to support reliable signal transmission for commercial fire alarm systems. The new communicator is designed to provide dependable connectivity, broad panel compatibility, and compliance with key fire signaling standards.
Engineered for ease of installation, the TG-7FX is intended to be installed داخل a UL Listed enclosure and powered directly from a fire panel’s auxiliary output. This design removes the need for additional outlets or electrical work, helping streamline deployments across a variety of commercial fire installations.
The TG-7FX replaces traditional landline connections with LTE cellular service and supports either AT&T or Verizon networks, depending on the model. This flexibility allows dealers to select network coverage based on regional needs while offering a more cost-efficient option within Telguard’s fire communicator portfolio.
Using a single DACT connection, the TG-7FX is compatible with most fire panels equipped with a dialer. It transmits signals to central stations using widely supported formats, including CID, SIA, Pulse (4x2, 3x1), Radionics (IIe/3a2,4), and DMP.
According to Telguard President George Brody, the TG-7FX was developed to address the everyday requirements of commercial fire installations through a simplified approach, while maintaining the reliability, compliance, and support associated with Telguard solutions.
The communicator is UL 864 Listed for use in a UL 864 Listed enclosure, reinforcing its suitability for commercial fire signaling applications. Its compact form factor and efficient power consumption are designed to support seamless integration into existing system designs.
The TG-7FX expands Telguard’s lineup of fire alarm communicators, complementing its broader portfolio that includes intrusion and residential solutions, and offering dealers greater flexibility in selecting the appropriate communicator for each application.
The TG-7FX is currently available for pre-order, with general availability expected in June.
