RAE Systems Inc. has announced that it won a $1.3 million contract from the U.S. Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice made the decision to purchase the company's MultiRAE Plus system, which is a life safety detection system that detects toxic gases. The device can be used as either for personal protection or as wireless, remote monitoring device.
The MultiRAE Plus will be used for first responder applications.
