Alarm.com has introduced the ADC-FC1-LTE-V, a commercial fire communicator designed to provide alarm transmission for commercial fire systems.

According to the company, the new communicator is built to support a range of commercial fire installations, including schools, restaurants, retail stores, offices, warehouses, apartment buildings and mixed-use properties.

The ADC-FC1-LTE-V uses LTE cellular connectivity to transmit fire alarm signals and is designed to integrate with Alarm.com’s platform. The communicator enables service providers to monitor fire alarm events while also providing customers with remote visibility into their systems through the Alarm.com app.

The company said the communicator supports both sole-path cellular communications and dual-path configurations when paired with an IP connection. It is intended to work with new and existing commercial fire alarm control panels.

Alarm.com said the communicator provides event reporting, remote testing capabilities and system status monitoring. Service providers can also use the platform to receive notifications, manage customer accounts and access diagnostic information.

The communicator is part of Alarm.com’s broader commercial property platform, which includes intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, energy management and other connected building technologies.

The ADC-FC1-LTE-V is available through the company’s authorized service provider network.
