Developed for the custom residential and commercial AV market, the HDMI IR/Extender Kit provides allows one HDMI cable plus one (1) IR remote cable to be replaced by two (2) Cat5e/6 twisted pair cables. The product supports 1080i and 1080p resolutions up to 300ft (91m) and 200 ft (61m) respectively via Cat6 cable. In addtion, the product supports 1080p Deep Color up to 150 ft (46m) via Cat6 cable. The HDMI IR/Extender Kit includes one Transmitter, one Receiver, one IR Emitter , one IR Sensor and two (2) power supplies and comes with a two (2) year warranty. The product complies with HDMI 1.3a and FCC Class A standards. The HDMI IR/Extender Kit streamlines cabling in applications such as: home theatre, digital signage, boardroom projector systems and classroom training systems. The product allows pre-existing twisted pair to be used instead of costly single-use HDMI cable, thereby allowing HDMI equipment to access the structured cabling system for greater maximum investment return.
