GLOBAL RELEASE - August 9, 2012 - CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce the expansion of one of its IPSecurityCenter PSIM deployments to protect staff, visitors, buildings and assets in over 425 office locations across six countries located in the Americas, Europe and the Indian subcontinent. The solution incorporates the largest and most complex PSIM deployment in the US today.
As with many Fortune 20 companies, the organization has grown both organically and through M&A activity, which has meant that the physical security infrastructure has expanded rapidly; bringing on board disparate security systems, multiple command and control centers plus numerous procedures and processes.
Each of the organization’s subsidiaries in the six countries had the autonomy to choose the best solution for their own local security needs. A key requirement for the US division was to reduce the number of Command and Control Centers it was running by 90% across its 375+ locations in North America. The sheer size and scale of the project meant any PSIM deployed had to have the performance capacity to deal with the dynamics that comes with a large multinational Fortune 20 organization. This included being able to modify and/or add new SOPs based on evolving threat assessments, the ability to add new security systems as required and to have a GUI that was easy for the security officers to navigate.
Due to the size, complexity and criticality of the security operation within the US, the risk management team needed to procure the best possible solution. To meet the criteria it was essential that the successful PSIM provider was able to reference large scale deployments running successfully for over 3 years, evidence successful PSIM deployments across multiple geographies and prove a ROI against the business investment.
“After a thorough evaluation that concluded with a product shoot-out, CNL Software was selected as the right PSIM provider for this major project. The US entity was the largest and most complex and as such the management team closely monitored and evaluated IPSecurityCenter’s performance in the other countries before finally launching the US project”, explains Matthew Kushner, President - CNL Americas. “Of course these types of projects can be demanding but at CNL Software we have the experience to support our customers throughout the PSIM process. We are very proud to be able to say that CNL Software’s global reference accounts remain the most impressive and longest standing of any PSIM provider.”
