The operator then navigates the digital floor plan to the precise location of the alert and clicks on the corresponding device. The diagnostic information reveals the smoke detector is dirty, so the operator alerts the maintenance team to clean and test the detector. To streamline recordkeeping, Simplex Incident Manager then digitally stores the troubleshooting notes and operational, testing, and diagnostic reports.
The software is developed in accordance with the ISA/IEC 62443 software development process, uses modern authentication practices, and has advanced security profiles to help system administrators restrict access to only authorized users.
