Merger to expand depth and breadth of services offered by company

Send Word Now announced on Monday that it has acquired One Call Now, a leading provider of notification services to the SMB, education, non-profit and property management markets.

One Call Now is used by thousands of organizations to distribute both emergency and routine messages.  The company sent nearly 300 million voice, text and email messages to a wide variety of companies and organizations last year, and is expected to surpass that number in 2015.

"The One Call Now team is passionate about the same thing we are—giving organizations a way to communicate efficiently when a large number of contacts need to receive an important message quickly," said Tony Schmitz, president and CEO of Send Word Now. "By combining teams that serve slightly different sectors with technology platforms that are leading-edge, we can effectively solve the communication challenges of organizations large and small with the notification service that is best suited to their needs and budget.  Most importantly, I believe this acquisition benefits clients of both businesses because it expands the depth and breadth of our services, giving us even better tools and processes with which to serve our combined clients."

"The synergies are obvious: They have the world's best crisis communication technology and are the experts in enterprise and situational notification. One Call Now's dominance in the SMB sector in addition to serving property management, religious, education and non-profit verticals will only strengthen with this acquisition. Together, we can bring the best notification solution to any business or organization in the world," said Angela Manning, president of One Call Now.
