DICE Corporation has integrated AURA's on-demand guard response capabilities into its dispatching products, allowing security dealers to offer guard services alongside alarm monitoring. Clear Response Monitoring and Clear Watch are the first monitoring centers to put the integration into service.

The integration enables monitoring operators to dispatch licensed private security responders directly through DICE in areas covered by AURA across the United States. Dealers can offer the service without operating their own guard vehicles, hiring guards or managing response operations.

AURA is a technology platform that connects alarms to a network of vetted, state-licensed private security response partners. When an operator selects AURA response for a site, the platform dispatches the closest available responder and oversees the callout through its 24/7 control room. AURA reports an average response time of 18 minutes through its proximity-based dispatch model.

Integration Built on PSAP Connect

DICE connected AURA through its PSAP Connect broker, the dispatch engine that links DICE monitoring centers directly to more than 700 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) and sends alarm dispatches into their computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems.

With AURA integrated into the platform, the same engine can automate dispatches to both public first responders and private security guards. The integration expands automated dispatch options for DICE monitoring centers, including situations where police attendance is limited or a private guard is the appropriate first response.

DICE also provides 911 services through its sister company, IPtelX.

Clear Response and Clear Watch Put Integration Into Service

Clear Response Monitoring uses the integration to offer its dealers guard response alongside traditional alarm monitoring. When an alarm requires an on-site response, an operator can dispatch a responder directly from DICE.

Clear Watch combines the integration with DICE AI video detection. The system flags potential threats on camera, allowing a Clear Watch operator to verify an event before dispatching a licensed guard without switching systems or re-entering site information.

The integration also supports a workflow in which operators can review an event through video and send a guard to the property when needed.

"Our dealers have been asking for a way to offer real guard response without building it themselves," said Glen Carter, president of Clear Response Monitoring and Clear Watch. "Through DICE, our operators go from an alarm or a verified event on camera to a licensed guard on the way, from the same screen they work every signal on. Our dealers make the sale, step away and earn recurring revenue, and their customers get someone at the door when it matters."

Automated Dispatch and Response Tracking

The integration begins when a dealer enrolls a site with a monitoring center and its details are entered into DICE. After the customer opts into guard response and the dealer completes the contract, the site is activated for AURA and its site and contact information is transferred automatically.

When an alarm or verified video event requires a guard, the operator selects AURA response within DICE. AURA dispatches a licensed responder, and updates for dispatch, arrival and completion are added to the alarm history. Law enforcement can also be dispatched if necessary.

The workflow eliminates the need for a separate dispatch console, an additional control-room screen or manual re-entry of customer information. Managers can access analytics, callout history and reports through the AURA customer platform. Sites can also be configured to send property contacts a text message with a live tracking link and a report when the job is complete.

DICE Founder and CEO Cliff Dice said the integration allows monitoring centers to activate guard response on a site-by-site basis using existing customer data.

"We built AURA directly into the DICE platform so a center can turn on guard response site by site, using the data it already holds," Dice said. "AURA runs on the same PSAP Connect engine that already reaches more than 700 PSAPs, so one dispatch engine now serves first responders and guards alike. Clear Response and Clear Watch show it working on both alarm and AI video monitoring, and the integration is ready for any monitoring center on DICE."

Recurring Revenue Opportunity for Dealers

The service gives security dealers an additional recurring offering without requiring them to manage guard operations. Dealers retain their brand and remain the customer's point of contact, while the monitoring center and AURA handle dispatch once a customer enrolls.

The offering is intended for residential properties, commercial sites, construction sites and vacant properties.

"DICE doesn't wait for the market to change before it moves. It builds for where monitoring is heading, and that made it the natural partner for us," said Grant Williams, chief product officer at AURA. "Bringing the AURA response network into DICE gives central stations a new service to offer their dealers, without adding a single new system for their operators."

AURA CEO Warren Meyers said the partnership supports the company's goal of expanding access to safety services.

"We started AURA because we believe safety is a fundamental right, not a luxury," Meyers said. "Getting help to people faster means working with companies that are willing to move with their markets, and DICE is exactly that kind of company. They saw where monitoring was going and chose to lead rather than follow."

The integration is available now to monitoring centers using DICE dispatching products. Each center must agree to terms with AURA, after which DICE support enables the integration. AURA confirms coverage for each site before activation. Dealers can add guard response through Clear Response Monitoring or Clear Watch.

AURA provides on-demand guard response alongside police and other public emergency services and does not replace them.
