Multi-Axial Fabrics Plans for New Production Facility in California

Multi-Axial Fabrics Inc is considering opening a new manufacturing complex for composite materials near San Clemente, Calif. The new 25,000-sq.-ft. complex would manufacture the company's StructurPly thermoplastic prepregs and preforms and Tow Strand reinforcements, which are used in the sports equipment and construction markets. It will have a conversion capacity of more than 25 million pounds per year.
