Antaira Technologies introduced two new industrial cellular routers during this week's Automate Show 2026 in Chicago, expanding its portfolio of connectivity solutions for industrial edge deployments. The new AIROLINX-5G-IO-T 5G Cellular Router and AIROLINX-LTE-IO-T 4G LTE Cellular Router are designed to provide high-speed connectivity, redundancy and protocol support for industrial environments.

The AIROLINX-5G-IO-T is built for applications that require high bandwidth and continuous connectivity. Powered by a global Telit 5G modem, the router supports dual-SIM and eSIM configurations to provide carrier flexibility and network availability.

The platform also includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual-band Wi-Fi and automatic WAN failover to maintain connectivity if a primary network link becomes unavailable. Antaira said the router is backward compatible with 4G networks and offers expandable interface options to support future network upgrades.

According to the company, the AIROLINX-5G-IO-T is intended to deliver high-performance connectivity while protecting existing infrastructure investments as organizations transition to next-generation networks.

Antaira also introduced the AIROLINX-LTE-IO-T, a 4G LTE industrial cellular router that combines cellular, wired and Wi-Fi connectivity into a single platform. The router includes automatic WAN failover, integrated GNSS positioning and serial communication interfaces for industrial networking applications.

The platform also features digital and analog I/O ports that support equipment control, event-driven automation and real-time notifications. Native support for industrial protocols including Modbus, SNMP, TR-069, NTRIP and MQTT enables communication with a wide range of industrial devices across factory, field and fleet environments.

The AIROLINX-LTE-IO-T also supports multiple simultaneous VPN configurations designed to provide enterprise-grade data security across connected networks.
