Genetec Unveils Cloudlink 2210 for Scalable Enterprise Security

Genetec Inc. has introduced Genetec Cloudlink™ 2210, a high-density, cloud-managed appliance designed for complex, enterprise-scale deployments. The new system allows organizations to expand cloud-managed physical security without requiring cloud-only storage or a full infrastructure replacement. Cloudlink 2210 addresses common enterprise challenges, including controlling cloud storage costs, supporting existing devices without direct-to-cloud connectivity, and maintaining local operation during network disruptions. Its 2U rack-mount form factor allows large organizations to extend cloud-managed security across high-density, mission-critical environments without redesigning their infrastructure.
Designed for Scale and Resiliency
Cloudlink 2210 consolidates multiple workloads—including video management, access control, and intrusion—into a single appliance. This reduces system sprawl, simplifies management in large-scale deployments, and lowers operational overhead. Built on an open architecture, it supports a wide range of third-party devices such as cameras, access control systems, and intrusion panels. Enterprises can modernize while securely integrating existing hardware, maintaining business continuity, and reducing migration risks.
The appliance supports hundreds of connected devices per unit and offers up to 240 TB of local storage, making it suitable for deployments with high device density and long retention requirements. RAID-protected storage, redundant components, and dual network interfaces ensure uptime and data protection, allowing security workloads to continue operating locally even if cloud connectivity is disrupted.
Flexible Scaling Without Infrastructure Overhaul
Cloudlink 2210 scales by adding units as organizational needs grow, increasing device counts and storage capacity without redesigning infrastructure. Centralized cloud management maintains visibility and control across deployments. Part of Genetec’s broader cloud-managed portfolio, the appliance can operate on premises, in the cloud, or across hybrid environments, combining high-performance local processing with centralized cloud management.
For channel partners, the system enables larger, higher-density projects with predictable scaling. Integrators can simplify installations, accelerate rollout timelines, and accommodate customers with strict retention policies and hybrid environments that combine local infrastructure with Security Center SaaS.
The Genetec Cloudlink 2210 will be showcased at ISC West in booth #13062 and is expected to begin shipping globally in May 2026 through Genetec’s accredited channel partners.
