SIW to Host Webinar on Hospital Security

The program, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, will cover a wide range or risk and compliance issues, from Joint Commission standards, to HIPAA compliance, emergency room security, infant abduction and more. As part of the program, Jeff Aldridge, president of SAI and a former hospital security administrator, will be joined by Bryan Koontz, director of security and safety at High Point (NC) Regional Health System, to discuss physical security and life-safety issues on the national radar. Imprivata will be discussing single sign-on technologies, and Lenel will be discussing integrated system controls for the hospitals.
