Executive Security Driver

More and more companies have begun seeking executive drivers in connection with their executive protection programs. This position entails driving and providing security for a high-ranking senior company executive and often his or her family members.

Job Description:
• Drives the executive to and from their residence, office and nearby appointments.
• Drives executive family members and guests as required.
• Provides the appropriate level of security to all passengers.
• Participates in corporate security programs and initiatives, which may include counterintelligence, surveillance, threat assessment and/or security awareness.
• Notifies the security operations center of any changes to the executive’s daily itinerary.
• Conducts security advance operations as needed.
• Maintains the executive vehicles and ensures accurate records are kept for purposes of insurance and preventative maintenance.

Qualification Guidelines:
A minimum of 10 years of law enforcement or corporate enforcement experience, specifically protecting or driving corporate executives and/or government officials. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior-level staff. Appropriate firearm license. Able to solve practical problems and react quickly and calmly to emergency situations. Courteous and accommodating attitude. Demonstrated discretion in all matters related to the assignment. Superior physical fitness and reaction times. Candidate must be comfortable interacting in a business environment and adhering to company policies.

Salary Trends:
The salary for this position tends to fall between $75,000 and $100,000, plus a bonus of approximately 10 percent.
