Expanding To Europe
ADI has begun its international expansion by establishing 25 offices in 11 countries. The initial countries served will be the Netherlands, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain (five offices), Italy (four offices), Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland (two offices), Slovak Republic, and South Africa (seven offices).

"We look forward to serving a whole new family of customers," comments Tom Polson, president. "And, many of our loyal vendor partners see this as a great opportunity to expand their own customer base in Europe."

Michael Flink, ADI's vice president of marketing and operations for ADI in North America, has been appointed managing director for ADI's operations in Europe and will be based in Amsterdam. ADI currently operates over 105 branch locations in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Product lines include intrusion, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, telephony, distributed A/V and structured cabling. For more information, visit www.adilink.com.

That's The Ticket
In other ADI news, Craig Wohl, President of C.W. Security out of Dublin, PA, was the second lucky winner of ADI's "Big Ticket" Sweepstakes.

Wohl got whisked away to the Super Bowl in Jacksonville, FL, where he and his son (both diehard Philadelphia Eagles fans) enjoyed, on ADI, 5-day/4-night hotel accommodations, an NFL stadium tailgate party, and pre and post-game hospitality.

Wohl, who attended the Cherry Hill, NJ, Expo says "I never thought I'd win. But, I filled out the entry form and threw it in the bowl and got to go the ultimate bowl." Good stuff.
