PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- G4S plc., the leading global security solutions provider, has implemented the next phase of development and group structure which involves the delivery of its new strategy in major markets around the world. North America comprises the largest potential for G4S's expanding solutions, and as such, a decision was taken to realign the reporting structure within the Group as a whole, to include this market, to allow a greater focus on high security facility outsourcing. In accordance with this, Mr. Grahame Gibson will take direct line responsibility for North American operations. G4S Wackenhut's Senior Management team will continue to support employees and customers with day-to- day attention on delivering industry-leading security services while the organization also begins to concentrate on initiatives to support the new Group-wide strategy to provide customers with a broader range of security solutions.
Mr. Gibson (54) will retain his positions as Chief Operating Officer and Board member for G4S plc. He has a vast amount of experience to bring to the North American businesses from all aspects of the industry. Mr. Gibson will continue to be based in the U.S. and focus on enhancing the range of solutions provided by G4S Wackenhut to its growing customer base.
Mr. Gary A. Sanders (55), President and CEO of G4S Wackenhut and Regional President for North America , has left the company. Mr. Sanders had helped develop G4S Wackenhut to become the leading manned security company in the U.S., with a strong commitment to employees, excellent customer relationships, and a reputation for quality. He is a highly-regarded colleague and security industry expert. During his tenure at the helm the company delivered 4 consecutive years of high growth, above the industry average.
