First Official U.S. Visit by Chadian President Idriss Deby Itno

WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Chadian President Idriss Deby Itno will make his first official visit to the U.S. Nov. 25-Dec. 5, for political, business and non-governmental meetings in New York, Atlanta , Houston and Washington, D.C. President Deby will also speak at three universities, the Corporate Council on Africa , and the National Press Club on topics including Darfur; expansion of bilateral relations with the U.S. through association with AFRICOM; development of Chad's energy sector; purchase of transport planes from Lockheed Martin; etc. The schedule follows.
