CSC Receives Task Order From Department of Homeland Security to Provide Verification Information System Support

to provide IT support services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security
(DHS) Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Verification Information
System (VIS). CSC estimates the value of the task order, which has a one-year

Under the terms of the task order, CSC will continue to provide the USCIS Verification Division and the VIS with help desk support, systems training and security, strategic business system planning, business intelligence analysis, and performance testing and measurement services. In addition, the company will continue to ensure that the VIS meets all operational technology requirements associated with the REAL ID Act of 2005 and state and federal legislation mandating the use of E-Verify, an electronic employment verification system.
