Based in Londonderry, New Hampshire, Valor Fire Safety, LLC was founded by Matthew Erdtmann, PhD and Jeffrey Silvestro in May 2012. The company has developed a patentpending smoke detector that uses 21st century technology to activate more quickly and accurately to smoldering and flaming fires than ionization and photoelectric smoke detectors. The result is ESP Advanced Detection, which the company will license to residential and commercial smoke detector manufacturers.
