Thomas Carnevale currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Sentry 360 Security, an end-to-end IP video solutions company with a special focus on advanced high resolution surveillance cameras and software management systems. With a background in the telecommunications industry, Carnevale took his technical insights into the security industry and began his first entrepreneurial start-up, JCS Digital Security, which primary focus was to integrate the best-in-breed surveillance technologies for all of their commercial and governmental clients.
Aside from his current duties at Sentry 360, Carnevale is also an active consultant for the Gerson Lehman Group, which is an independent primary research firm serving business and investment leaders in North America, Asia and Europe. Carnevale performs phone consultations, as well as one-to-one sessions with major investment leaders on emerging video surveillance technology trends. He also advises on specific security technology companies' marketshare and analyzes future market growth. Carnevale was recently named a SCHOLAR level consultant, putting him in demand with more than 70 percent of GLG’s 400,000 pool of consultants. As an active speaker in the security industry, Carnevale has spoken on topics such as IP video convergence, intelligent video applications and video storage compression. Some of these major events have been the NYC Battery Park Post 9/11 municipal security meeting and IP User Group, in addition to ISC events.
