Robert (Rob) Welton is a national business manager for Siemens Industry, Inc. with a focus on enterprise security solutions for cities and critical infrastructure. He has over 30 years of experience in the security and information technologies industries. Rob’s experience ranges from managing federal and selected commercial verticals to the successful implementation of integrated command and control solutions for seaports and airports. He has directed homeland security business development for Magal, an international manufacturer of intrusion detection systems. Rob served as an executive VP of sales & marketing for Knowledge Vector, a developer of security management software. Under his leadership, the firm was able to secure venture capital funding and major contracts in aviation and military markets. He is also a former vice president of worldwide business development for Alcatel where he helped grow sales of voice over IP solutions. Rob is a graduate of East Carolina University and a former United States Air force pilot. He and his wife live in Clayton, North Carolina.
