Participants will learn about quarantine and isolation, mental health issues during traumatic events, disaster mortuary teams, food safety in disasters, setting up local distribution sites, disasters and the elderly, the very young and people with mobility concerns, language barriers and disasters, bio-terrorism moulage, avian flu, pandemic flu, disaster triage and multi-hazard exercise design.
