ASIS Professional Development: Guns at Work

Some states have passed restrictive gun laws after incidents that made the national news. Because of shootings, other states have passed gun-friendly laws that allow employees with concealed weapons permits to bring their guns to work -- as long as they store them in their cars. Some colleges are allowing persons with CCW permits to bring guns on campus. The question begs to be asked: does the availability of guns in the workplace make it safer?
