NEW YORK , Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- EarthCam (www.earthcam.net), the international leader in intelligent network technology, will unveil the latest webcam advances at the 15th World Congress on ITS, November 17-20 in New York City at exhibits #1209 and #905.

The Solar TrailerPod, as well as EarthCam's popular wireless, solar-powered TrailerCam, will be displayed at exhibit #905. The new modular Solar TrailerPod can be customized easily using interchangeable components and cameras. It is quickly adaptable for analytic, license plate reading, traffic, OEM and surveillance cameras, among others. The compact system delivers an efficient transportable unit for rapid deployment and easy re-location.

The highly acclaimed breakthrough 8 megapixel high def camera system will be demonstrated at exhibit #1209. The camera doubles currently available HD resolution, in addition to offering live video to manage and monitor critical infrastructure with optimum clarity. Other intelligent transportation system webcams on display include the VelcroCam -- a full-featured camera that utilizes a wireless EVDO high-speed cellular connection and mounts with heavy-duty straps for fast placement and removal.

In addition, EarthCam will display its new PowerPod to power cameras and sensor equipment from switch load centers. The unit configures for all power needs with an automatic power switch. EarthCam's variety of live streaming and HD video cameras, coupled with wireless transmission and solar power capabilities, provide custom solutions for the most demanding projects. The systems meet a wide range of terrain, weather and budget requirements.
