Elbit Systems to Supply $100 Million of Military Communications Systems to Customers in Europe, South America and Asia

HAIFA, Israel , October 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ:ESLT) announced that it has recently been awarded contracts valued in a total amount of approximately $100 million, to supply its military communications systems to three armies.

The communications systems to be delivered under the contracts are Tadiran CNR 9000, Tadiran HF 6000 and the PRC 710 radio systems. These tactical radio systems offer voice and high data rate transfer and are considered as industry's leading technology.

All products will be delivered through the end of 2009.

Under the above-mentioned separate contracts, Elbit Systems will supply systems valued at approximately $50 million, $38 million and $10 million to a South American, Asian and European country, respectively.
