Federal Electronics, Inc. Receives AS9100 Certification

CRANSTON, R.I. , Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Electronics, Inc. (http://www.federalelec.com) today announced that it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 Revision B certification.

Federal Electronics, Inc. is a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) partner to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), providing printed circuit board, cable and wire harness, fiber optic interconnect and functionally tested higher level/system level integration services from their Cranston, RI based facility.

AS9100 is a set of requirements for quality management systems that include all of ISO 9001:2000 and is further expanded to include the requirements of the international aerospace industry. It seeks to assure customer satisfaction by having manufacturers produce world class quality products at the lowest possible cost.
