Dynamics Research Corporation Awarded $11.5 Million in Contract Work from Department of Homeland Security

ANDOVER, Mass. , Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq: DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, technology and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, today announced that it has received two task orders totaling $11.5 million by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The task orders were awarded through the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions Program to Kadix Systems LLC, a DRC company, to provide program management support to various offices within DHS.

"We will employ our expert resources and management processes to ensure that DHS gains maximum benefit from its IT investments and help ICE adapt to a rapidly changing environment."

Under the first task order, valued at $7.4 million for two years, DRC will provide program management support to the Systems Development Division in OCIO. The second task order, valued at $4.1 million, is for one base year and two option years. Using the IT Investment Management framework and Value-Driven Reengineering methodology, DRC will provide the ICE OCIO Program Executive Office with the resources, processes and expertise required to better manage the ICE IT investment portfolio. Under this contract DRC will assist in implementing project management best practices that encourage collaboration and integration for improved project performance.
