General Dynamics Awarded $183 Million Contract for Integrated Logistics Support to Naval Air Systems Command

FAIRFAX, Va. , Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a contract for integrated logistics support for foreign military sales. The five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract was awarded to General Dynamics by the Naval Air Systems Command and has a total potential value of $182.9 million if all options are exercised. There was no initial award value.

Under this contract, General Dynamics will provide logistics, technical program management, configuration management, financial management, acquisition and administrative support to the Naval Aviation Foreign Military Sales programs. General Dynamics will assist with program planning, requirements determination, site activation, transportation and delivery, acquisition and tracking of procurement items.
