SRA Awarded $35 Million Contract by U.S. Department of State

FAIRFAX, Va. , Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, today announced it has won a contract with the Department of State's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) Refugee Processing Center (RPC). The contract has an estimated value of $35 million over three years, if all options are exercised.

SRA will manage and operate the Refugee Processing Center and will be responsible for processing refugee applications, facilitating reception and placement of arriving refugees in conjunction with voluntary agencies throughout the U.S., and for providing flexible responsiveness for the PRM Bureau to world events that relate to refugee and migration issues. Under the contract, SRA will also operate and maintain the RPC's primary software application, the Worldwide Refugee Admissions Processing System (WRAPS), including developing enhancements to the software and deploying it worldwide.

The RPC has been in operation since 2001. Its mission is to provide technical, data and refugee processing support in achieving the President's annual U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) objectives.
