Fire officials are investigating an arson at a downtown nightclub early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Someone threw a Molotov cocktail through a window of the Avalon Bar & Nightclub, 805 15th St., about 1:30 a.m., Fire Battalion Chief Niko King said.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire with minimal damage resulting. A motive for the attack is unknown.
